Appearance

Scotty is probably one of the more normal looking Questers in the group. He stands at 6' even, weighing in at just about 175 lbs. Scott's hair is jet black with streaks of blood-red, shoulder length and matched perfectly to his goatee. Like all Coolian's of his kind he has gold colored eyes.
Scott's attire is easily described as "Straight up Rocker": Blue jeans, various rock t-shirts (which he changes regularly), leather metal studded wrist bands, orange lensed Ozzy (Osbourne) sytle glasses, and his pair of black and tan size 10 World Industries skate shoes.

His most noted attire, the attire he wears for all of Side Quest's doings, changes little from his regular attire except he discards his Ozzy glasses and replaces his usual t-shirt for a fitted black button up rocker shirt with Side Quest's logo emblazoned on his back and the left breast pocket, where he keeps his picks during concerts.

As far as his personality goes...He's unbreakably loyal to his friends and comrades. Always ready to fire off a joke or lighten the mood he's easily likable. However he's also hot-headed to the extreme, in terms of how hot headed, he's second only to Julian Sawyer. He's learned as he's gone along to control his anger and rage into more productive ways. With each battle he becomes calmer and cooler under pressure. Though quirky and silly as he can be sometimes, when a job comes up he's all about "takin' care of business". Ever skillful in computers he has a hacking and programming talent that is light-years above all the other Questers. Even his guitars have built in supercomputers he can use through a musical interface he designed.

Just watch out when Darkdata makes chocolates or cookies. He likes to eat the ones that make him turn into his full-bodied female persona, Serena Gibson, just to annoy people. Just hope his girlfriend doesn't find out...*DUN-dun-dun--*

History

The history of Scott Gibson is a long one, full of oddity that can only be surmised in his home universe of "FLCL". Scott was born into an average family but his father(strangely enough Geddy Lee, lead singer of Rush) worked long hard hours so he never had any role model to look up to. His mother, Myra Gibson, also worked, but during the day, but still he had little contact with his parents. Thus he became hostile and even a bully in his early years. Then the tides got turned around when Scott ended up on the recieving end of his abuse-ees. The fight was stopped not long after it started thanks to a worried passer by. Scott was beaten and humiliated but this gentle stranger took sympathy on him. This passer by was the legendary Jimi Hendrix, champion of the Coolian people. (Ask Scott if you're confused on that, he's always more than happy to tell the tale and explain it.)

Hendrix took Scott under his wing and on "Red House" Island he trained him as his own pupil. Scott's life suddenly pulled a 180 and he made something of himself. During a bout with his one role model, AC/DC's Angus Young, he impressed the legendary rocker and was granted his first real guitar, Angus Young's cherry red Gibson SG.

After graduating from the Galaxy Space Police Brotherhood Academy he went on many tours of service as the helmsman on the Boston starship "Higher Power" before finally earning his stripes and being granted a position as a "Freelance Field Agent" for the GSPB. Now Scott was free to take on jobs and come and go as he pleased. With this he rode his trusty fire engine red Vespa scooter, Roxy, into the heat of battle after battle and life couldn't be better. Until he met Raharu Haruhara.

She was an academy grad just like him and they hit it off pretty well. The two fell in love and played out many successful missions. However when reports arose of an astral being with major amounts of N.O. (an interdimensional channel in someone's head that they can pull stuff through.) Raharu suddenly lusted for that power and created an agenda of her own, but that meant that she had to get Scott out of her way. She broke up with him and when an arguement insued she broke her guitar over his head and stole one of his rare bass guitars from his collection, the left handed azureglo blue Rickenbacker 4001. With that she left and sought out Atomisk and dissappeared off the GSPB's radar. Heartbroken Scott returned to his line of work but eventually found another girlfriend, this time she was a steady girlfriend. They met when Scott had to help train some new recruits for an Earth videogame called "Guitar Hero". Scott and Judy Nails set it off and have been going strong ever since.

It wasn't long though before something wholly weird and totally stupid happend. Scott played a gig one night at his favorite bar and when the stage trap-door malfunctioned he fell into a portal to Nintendeus. The only one of his kind surrounded by all sorts of odd characters he was at a loss for what to do. With no other way to get back that he knew of Scott became a Quester and looked high and low for a way back to his homeworld. What he didn't expect though was that he'd become attached to this universe.

Before long he formed a band called "Side Quest" with his fellow Questers: Scott Gibson (Lead guitar/lead vocals), Julian Sawyer (rythym guitar), Dragoshi Helldusk (Bass guitar), Garrick Fy'aar (Drums), and Digifanatic (synth/keyboards). Together they've played a successful gig for their tour in the Sword Tournament at the beginning of Season 9.

As the season progressed he finally was allowed a trip back home using the Atlantean dimensional transporter. With some of his fellow band-mates and Questers alike they took a vacation. Scott, on the other hand, had to set things right with the brass of the GSPB, Judy (his girlfriend), and a few other things. With that accomplished Scott returned to Nintendeus with the promise that he'd come back once and awhile and eventually either come back entirely or come back for Judy.

At the end of events in Season 11, Scott was forced back to his home dimension to face unknown perils. However what was clear was that it was serious. According to a garbled subspace dimensional transmission his homeworld, Voodoo Child, had fallen. Scott left without hesitation but told his friends and band mates that he would do everything in his power to get back in one piece. Then he left through the portal with Roxy at his side. His current whereabouts, other than his home universe, and condition are unknown.

What is known is that he hasn't forgotten his friends on Nintedus. He came back for an extremely short stint to help the Questers take down the evil Charles Magellan. After the battle he reassured his friends that he did in fact want to return, but events on his homeworld still had yet to be resolved.

What is uncertain now is if he will ever return to Nintendus. With the dimensional pathways closing and the old crew going their seperate way should he return it will be strange to say the least. His bandmates in Side Quest, without their frontman, will have to try and pick up where they left off with Scott. However there is a dim ray of hope for a reunion tour.
