Super Smash Quest (Old)
Twenty Two years on the internet! 5/24/02 to 5/24/24! It's so old that I had to automate making these wacky messages to commemorate each year going by! The more recent site lives at Super Smash Quest (Current Site) but both of these sites are so old they've become pretty similar as far as breaking due to oldness goes. Look around, it's still here at least.

Cleaned up some even older pages (the old character page, the SSQ101V5 system document) just for added measure, because the cleaner the old pages are... the less likely they'll break. Within reason, this means this page should endure (although there are further steps I can take to reduce moving parts and 'bake' the site so that it doesn't need to rely on PHP at all, since the dynamic aspect is obviously NOT something that it needs anymore...)

When you become old like me, you write updates and forget to upload them for over 3 years. Oh well, the update was put up, courtesy of needing to update some pages in prep for working with newer and newer servery stuff. Not much changed other than some miscellaneous cleanup and making the site work on modern servers, as is the norm, although the Javascript timer thingy also now includes a year counter. So we can feel old, that much faster. Mwahahaha.

It's-a me, ancient person. I cleaned up the well and truly ancient updates back into the Old Updates Page as you don't need to load all that every time you look at this site. I also cleaned up that Javascript timer thingy. The horrid ancient formatting was hurting my eyes. I was gonna make it ES6, but you know. Maybe some old fashioned people are connecting old computers to this website and I don't want to throw them a trillion Javascript Errors. Oh, also just had to note that SMBHQ died, so in a fit of irony, this page outlasted SMBHQ itself. But I guess that goes without saying; my interest in this eclipsed those people's interest in Mario.

Cleaned up some more of the mess. Most of anything worth viewing now works. Not all of it is immediately findable, although I think I got anything y'all would want to see functioning now. Onwards, into the future -- FUTURUS INFINITUS!

Here in the year 2020, it's me, fixing random bugs in the dynamic coding so I won't have this site gray-out every fifteen seconds. But y'know, editing code from 12 years ago can be kinda nostalgic, so I might do a few more edits to expose some old stuff that's nifty to see, but not properly shown on the index or the navbars. Cheerio.

It's been 14 years now, and I had to change a bunch of stuff so I wouldn't have to keep bugging my webmaster to enable ancient functionality solely to include a buncha files. At least now the thing won't break every five months.

Hi there, it's been 13 years and you likely aren't looking at this page except for A. nostalgia or B. lost bewilderment and Google Search confusion. But in case you do need information, well, updated the top of this page. Viva la SSQ! (Yes it's still me, in case you're wondering, and yes, things are still going... just go to the new site.
Oh, and that old thing below (Editor's Note: I moved that to the Old Updates since it's now from more than 12 years ago) about the plot and entirely new SSQ is sorta... yeah... outdated. Raging math homework? I graduated from college a while ago now. And the old plot is still around in the current SSQ. So.... yeah. New site! Go to the new site! ...Or browse through here, but keep in mind it's outdated.
